Personality?: Ulquiorra’s personality is really quite simple. He’s cold and stoic. He’s also got a bit of an ego on him, and views most people as being below him or not worth his time, because of his high IQ. Many seem to speculate that he became a CSI because the majority of people he had to deal with were already dead. He can become impatient at times, especially with people he does not care for. Despite being an investigator he’s extremely detached and it’s obvious by those who worked with him that he holds no value of human life. His job is just that, a Job. Be it either working for Aizen or investigating a murder. However, just because he is detached does not make him bad at what he does. In fact, he’s damn good at what he does; I’d venture to say the best. He has a sharp eye and can catch the smallest of details. His job is simply child’s play and despite how others might cringe at a gory scene, Ulquiorra is virtually un-phased by most things. He is a violent and cold-blooded killer at heart, despite his calm exterior.

Appearance: Ulquiorra is of average height with pale skin and chin-length, feathered, black hair. He typically sticks to dark colors and wears some form of make up around his eyes and to line his top lip. His style is fairly neat and clean, choosing collared shirts over a tee. His eyes are a deep green, almost teal in color and he has tattoos of cyan colored “tear” markings running from under his eyes down to his chin. His left eye is actually glass. There is also a number 4 tattooed over his heart, though he does well to keep it hidden from any who may recognize it's meaning. He has had scarification done as a cover for some scars he received during an incident.

History: Ulquiorra was raised in a lacking environment and typically came home from school to lock himself in his room. His parents barely interacted with him, finding themselves too caught up in work or being lazy, good-for-nothing adults. Ulquiorra spent all of his free time studying and learning, keeping his over-zealous mind working. Ulquiorra would read or spend time on the internet to drown out the sound of his parents daily arguments. Of course his mother did the most to try and reach out to him by occasionally trying to talk to him. By this time he was too far gone and just ignored her half of the time. His parents had simply become just land-lords and trash in his eyes.

One night his father came home, drunk and flew into a rage, screaming and cursing at Ulquiorra’s mother. She fought back as the drunkard began to beat her. This was one night that Ulquiorra could not ignore, as the fighting escalated things were hurled or broken and the utter violence stirred Uli from his research. He came downstairs in time to see his father beating his mother mercilessly. He wasn’t sure what drove him to do so, but he leapt in to try and stop him and protect his mother.

At the age of 16 Uli committed murder, killing his father in cold blood in an attempt to save his mother. During the struggle he’d taken a few hits but managed to reach a knife from the kitchen counter to slit his father’s throat. By then it had been too late, his mother was cold and lifeless.

After playing the jury, it was later ruled that Uli had killed his father in self-defense and at the defense of his mother, he was able to walk. Aizen took interest in Ulquiorra and soon tracked him down. He was offered a home and job with Aizen, to which he graciously accepted both, learning all he could from Aizen and his other subordinates.

For the first half of the year he began working with Aizen his ego got the better of him and more often than not got him in trouble. Finally Aizen decided to put the young assassin in his place and teach him who was truly in charge. It only took the one ranked third among Aizen’s men to take Ulquiorra down. They dragged him to a chamber and strapped him down to a table. Aizen then used a scalpel to carve out Uli’s left eye. Ulquiorra quickly learned his lesson and became completely loyal to Aizen. To show some semblance of mercy, Aizen gave him a glass replacement to match the one that was left.
